Mission:

Our mission is to embrace and empower survivors of all forms of abuse. We prioritize creating a safe and non-judgemental space for survivors to take charge of their healing at their own pace. We aim to empower survivors to tap into their inner strength, honor their experience and celebrate their resilience, so they can reclaim their stories and have their voices be heard.

Services: 

“Know Her Name” offers support and funding to survivors of abuse. We offer a range of services, including litigation-related clothing donations, personal styling and glam sessions, connections with attorneys and therapists of diverse offerings (i.e. EMDR), and access to support groups. Lastly, receive one-on-one guidance through their journey. All funding will focus on restoring survivor’s safety and confidence.

About:

“Know Her Name” was founded by Ashley Guereque, a survivor who has channeled her personal experiences into helping others. Ashley started her career as a fashion stylist in the entertainment industry, working for 11 years on red carpets, photoshoots, and television shows after attending The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Her career, which she loved, took a devastating turn when she experienced rape and assault. Despite this, Ashley pressed forward, dedicating herself to healing. Through her journey, she discovered the power of connecting with other survivors and found that this connection was the key to her own recovery. With this realization, Ashley created “Know Her Name,” a nonprofit aimed at empowering survivors, helping them find their strength, and reminding them that healing is a continuous process—one that doesn’t have to be done alone.
